Intercom Security Upgrades
Seattle condo intercom break-ins are on the rise.Intercom security upgrades are available for a variety of systems. Including, but not limited to:
- DoorKing (DKS)
- Linear
- Aegis
Intercom and tele-entry systems are prone to forced and non-forced attacks. The three main intrusions are:
Key entry: Many systems use the same key for all models. This means there could easily be a key floating around allowing intruders easy non-forced access.
Pry open face: Intercom systems are vulnerable to pry attacks where the intruder uses a tool to pry the face open allowing access to the insides of the intercom.
Pry USPS lock: On most intercom models, the USPS Medeco lock is vulnerable to attack. Using special tools intruders can snap the cylinder for easy access

We can replace the override cylinder with a unique keyway, we can install our custom blocker bar to prevent prying, and can install our custom cover kit to prevent unwanted access to the postal lock while retaining ALL intercom functionality.
